WHAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ME: I took my camera or kept a souvenir from every promotion and appearance I participated in as a member of Steam Heat. I have so many photo albums full of fantastic memories!

The first time I danced onto the field at The Arena (aka The Checkerdome), I was amazed at how close the fans were able to sit. What a great game allowing the player to be upclose! Then down on one knee to create a runway of sorts for the Steamers to come through. The glowing archway and fog, then the announcer in a low, deep voice: "Your St Louis Steamersssssssssss". Fans screaming! I will never forget those games.

After the Steam Heat Dancers (Big Red Line, Blues Dancers and Baseball Cardinals Cheerleader), I went on to become a ballroom dance instructor and competitor in the Latin Division in addition to modeling in many hair and shoe runway shows and recording local radio spots while attending Webster University - Secondary Education Major.

Today, I work in PR/Marketing as well as being the Executive Assistant at a manufacturing company in St Louis, down the street from my first high school: Central Visual & Performing Arts High School. This is a full circle time for me as my youngest daughter auditioned and was accepted to CVPA where Ray Parks, our Steam Heat choreographer, runs the dance department.

The Steam Heat Alumni has brought many of us back together for several years, now including Ray; who is choreographing a new dance for the alumni which will be performed at the soccer alumni game in February 2018.

Exciting times!
